A Bad Bush Nominee

President Bush nominated Dr. James W. Holsinger as U.S. Surgeon General. While on the Judicial Council for the United Methodist Church, Dr. Holsinger supported preventing gays and lesbians from joining UM churches. He is also a believer in "conversion therapy" to "turn" gays & lesbians straight.

He is a terrible candidate for this important position, particularly when there are many more qualified individuals available.
